Where Ladies Talk Celebrates 5th Annual Back to School Initiative
Where Ladies Talk (WLT) is proud to announce the successful completion of its 5th annual Back to School initiative, dedicated to supporting marginalized children and families striving to make ends meet.

This year’s event, held on Saturday, August 24th, saw an overwhelming response from the community, with mothers arriving as early as 8:00 AM to receive much-needed school supplies.

The distribution team, brimming with excitement, warmly welcomed and supported every individual who came for assistance.

This year, the school supplies were generously donated by our Sister Chapter, WLT New York, through a special “Sip and Donate” event. The initiative garnered substantial donations and contributions, which were then handed over to our Saint Lucian Chapter for distribution.

“We are immensely grateful to everyone who made this project possible,” said Marilyn Joseph , Chairperson at Where Ladies Talk. “Your support has once again enabled us to provide essential school supplies to children in need, ensuring they are well-prepared for the upcoming school year.”

Where Ladies Talk remains committed to assisting members who are struggling and will continue to provide support in the best possible way. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all contributors and volunteers for their unwavering dedication to this cause.

A Woman Speaks

A Woman Speaks happens every year during the Month of March for Women’s Month

Women share their stories of resilience and joy and to lead conversations with the audience around the life and experience of real women.

The overall theme of A Woman Speaks is joyful affirmation. While it will explore sometimes harrowing experiences, the event is structured to promote positivity, health, spirituality, and wealth both financial and emotional. We will also talk about sexual liberation and fun, and feature exciting performances from female performers.

A Woman Speaks is an event from the group Where Ladies Talk, created by Sanue Joseph as a spinoff of the popular talk series The Soup, which she produces.

Where Ladies Talk is about women discussing issues, venting problems, expressing interest and feelings with other like minded women, to share resources, tools, and conversations that will uplift and inspire us all to become leaders in our own lives. Their need for such a space is the impetus for our seminar A Woman Speaks.

WLT Back to School Drive

Where Ladies Talk provides school supplies and school books to single mothers who cannot afford to buy their children supplies for school every school year.

We make sure all children can access and have what they need , without discrimination. This is one of our obligations through the support and donations from members and volunteers who wish to contribute and support this initiative.

WLT believes a child's right to education entails the right to learn. Yet, for too many children in Third World countries, seems disadvantaged in getting the necessary tools to facilitate their education.
